Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Monitor construction and operational activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality on-site.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of QA/QC experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
- Experience with inspection tools, quality documentation, and reporting systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Certification in Quality Management or Inspection (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, NDT) is an advantage.
