As the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead for a Data Centre construction project, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process meet or exceed quality standards. You will work closely with the project manager, construction team, and subcontractors to ensure that all materials, equipment, and workmanship meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program for the data centre construction project.
• Establish and maintain quality control procedures and ensure they are followed by all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections of all construction work and document any issues or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with the project team and subcontractors to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Develop and maintain a database of quality control records and reports.
• Ensure that all project specifications and industry standards are met or exceeded.
• Conduct training sessions for the project team and subcontractors on quality control procedures and requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive document records for commissioning, training and work package close out
• Manage the review and approval of all construction submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor and report on the progress of the quality assurance program to the project manager.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance and control in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Experience in data centre construction projects is a plus.
