Quality Control Field Inspector- POE

Here is an exciting opportunity to take part in a mega project in Windsor, Ontario as a Quality Control Field Inspector - POE. The qualified individual will be working within a lading EPMC/ construction firm alongside likeminded professionals. This opportunity has the potential for longevity and would follow a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Reporting to the Quality Control manager the successful candidate for this role will be fully conversant with applicable industry standards, specifications, and fabrication processes to be inspected. The qualified individual for this role would have quality control experience, specifically on buildings.

Job Duties:
- Perform the Inspections and Tests in accordance with the approved ITPs and
produce the pertaining quality records
- Identify and report non-compliant Construction Work and supplied product when
discovered, and review/ monitor disposition of non-Compliances
- Initiate/issuance of Internal Non-Compliance Report once a non-conformity
situation has been detected
- Prepare and maintain quality records pertaining to their assigned portion of work
- Verify that any equipment that requires so, is fit for purpose, is properly calibrated
and maintained as required

Qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Have experience in building construction Quality Control inspection, testing
- Have experience in related activities to units such as earthworks, concrete,
formwork, rebar, Post tensioning, pre-cast concrete structural elements, paving,
grouting, bolting, and torquing, structural welding, building architecture, building
installations
- Design-Build Experience or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects is also
essential
