Quantity Surveyor

For the building of a Utility project in the capital city of the Netherlands, our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor.

As a Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities are:
• prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings;
• assist in creation and management of subcontracts
• undertake cost analysis for portion of the project works
• assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• attendance of a contractual representative at meetings to facilitate the correct recording of meetings;
• advise on a procurement strategy
• prepare and analyze costings for tenders
• track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
• provide advice on contractual claims
• analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
• measurement of the works drawings in terms of the contract specifications;
• estimate the quantity and costs of materials
• prepare, manage and process the interim payment certificates of work completed
• assessment of all applications for payment from subcontractors;
• maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use

The skills you bring:
• experienced in architectural and/or fit out works
• 10 years of experience in similar roles
• fluent in English
