Quantity Surveyors / Commercial Managers

£35-60,000 + Excellent Benefits. London or Birmingham. Permanent

My client is one of the leading consultancies to the Rail and Infrastructure sectors. Due to an increase in workload they seek Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers, based in London or Birmingham paying a salary of £35-60,000.

We have excellent opportunities working in Rail, Highways, Airport and Utilities projects.

As the Quantity Surveyor /Commercial Manager you will have knowledge of the following:

• Pre and Post Tender
• Estimating
• Produce applications for payment to clients, identifying all commercial risks
• Challenging cost elements, monitor site activities and provide auditing as required.
• Undertaking final account settlements and internal reconciliation
• Encourage efficiencies by undertaking cost analysis of completed projects.
• You must also provide support with pre and post contract procurement activities and estimating resources, offering guidance and advice.You must have experience of:
•  

• Commercially managing investment projects
• NEC contract experience
• Negotiating
• RICS is preferred but not essential.
• Proven Cost / Commercial Management experience, ideally from a Consultancy or client side background
• Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects
• Experience in leading, managing and motivating teams
• Provide support with pre and post contract procurement activities and estimating resources, offering guidance and advice.
