Regulator Operator

Job Description:

TRS Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Regulator Operator to support our clients by working for the Track Construction and Maintenance Department, ensuring that safety is always a high priority. The candidate will be responsible for leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works on components of the Regulator
  • Trains and mentors other employees
  • Meets and coordinates with customers when needed
  • Maintains journals and other documents as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read instructions and follow technical specifications
  • Sound understanding of safety regulations, safe work practices and work procedures and be capable of assisting in maintaining safe work sites
  • Proficiency in the safe operation and maintenance of various related equipment and tools

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working in a similar environment
  • Experience in supervising and leading a team
  • Class I railway experience an asset
