Risk Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team within an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) for a mining construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing project risks to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Identification: Identify potential project risks and their causes during the project lifecycle.
2. Risk Assessment: Evaluate the potential impact and likelihood of identified risks and prioritize them based on their potential effect on the project.
3. Risk Mitigation Planning: Develop strategies and plans to mitigate identified risks, including contingency and risk response planning.
4. Risk Monitoring: Monitor and track identified risks and mitigation plans, updating risk information and adjusting plans as necessary.
5. Reporting: Provide regular risk management updates to project stakeholders, including the Project Controls IPMT, project sponsors, and other relevant parties.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Project Controls IPMT and project stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
• Professional certification in Risk Management is preferred.
• Proven experience in risk management in mining construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
