Scope of Activities
Our client is focusing on developing long term relationships with customers in revamping, debottlenecking and expanding the production capacity of their existing facilities including projects driven by the energy transition and sustainability, in the process industry, in the southern part of the Netherlands. Our offices in Bergen op Zoom and Rotterdam provide the full portfolio of project execution services: from conceptual engineering through commissioning and construction support.
We currently seek a high caliber Rotating Equipment Engineer to work on a contract basis for approx. 12 months.
Based in Bergen op Zoom or Rotterdam, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment datasheets;
- Preparation of equipment narrative specifications and RFQs;
- Technical (and commercial) bid evaluations of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors);
- Preparation of rotating equipment (technical) purchase order documents;
- Review of rotating equipment vendor documentation;
- Interface coordination as originating engineer for the mechanical equipment under his/her control towards their engineering disciplines;
- Participate in vendor coordination meetings as required;
- Travel to vendor shops as required.
Proven Experience:
- Detailed knowledge of all types of compressors (recip, centrif. screw) and pumps.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of design & engineering contractor experience;
- Bachelor, Master degree or equivalent;
- Since both written and verbal communication with many of our Client’s personnel is in Dutch and English, candidates shall be fluent in English and most preferable also Dutch.
