Job Summary:
- Will be responsible for the design and engineering of the mechanical/installation technical components within a wide variety of projects.
- Work as part of a team with civil engineering, electrical engineering, and instrumentation disciplines on complex technical objects, create cost estimates, draft specifications, and translate these into a mechanical design note/tender document.
- The projects mainly involve polder and drainage pumps, locks and weirs, (waste)water treatment plants, sewage pumping stations, and associated (pressure) pipelines.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering qualification.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience.
- Professional registration will be advantageous
- Fluent Dutch speaking / Afrikaans Language.
- Experience with design in Autodesk applications is a plus.
