"TRS has an urgent international opportunity for a Sandblaster / Coater onboard of Castoro 6 Vessel to join our international Client's project team to be based in the Netherlands and then UK. Applicants must be able can enter into EU without Schengen Visa."

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute the coating of pipes over the field joint, in accordance with project technical specifications.
• Execute the coating of pipes over the field joint using manual or machine-aided methods, in accordance with project technical specifications/drawings, quality control plans, and manufacturing instructions.
• Where required, prepare the field joint surface using sandblasting machines or other approved methods.
• Where required, apply heat to the coating by propane torches, induction coils or other approved methods.
• Where required, remove field joint coating out of specifications and/or factory-applied coating, as directed by the supervisor and with approved methods.
• Handle consumables, materials and equipment required to execute the field joint coating.
• Ensure full compliance with safety and quality procedures and standards.
• Organize all the means, equipment and materials necessary to perform the work, and reports any malfunctioning or abnormal conditions to the Supervisors.
• Ensure the housekeeping of the work location.
• Participate to the Tool box Talks meeting wherever required.
• Report to the Field Joint Coating Supervisor or the Offshore Welding Foreman

• Applicant must be able can enter into EU without Schengen Visa."
• Accredited educational / tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 5 years plus work experience in required field.
• Must have knowledge of Blasting techniques, equipment and consumables.
• Must have knowledge of Coating Techniques, Equipment and materials.
• Must have knowledge of Field Joint Coating (FJC) and Wrapping Techniques, Equipment and materials
• Must have knowledge of Surface preparations.
• Must have knowledge of HSE Work Practices.
• Must have knowledge of Quality control activities.
