Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Programme Management
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated master project schedules across all phases of delivery
- Establish and manage baseline schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope, milestones, and contractual requirements
- Perform critical path analysis (CPM) and proactively identify risks, delays, and opportunities within the schedule
- Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
- Manage and update look-ahead schedules (weekly / monthly) to support site execution
Stakeholder & Contractor Coordination
- Review, validate, and integrate contractor and subcontractor schedules into the overall project programme
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and client representatives to ensure accurate progress tracking and reporting
- Facilitate planning workshops and schedule review meetings with key stakeholders
- Establish clear interface milestones to support coordination across multiple workstreams
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Produce regular schedule reports, KPIs, and progress updates for senior stakeholders
- Implement and manage earned value analysis (EVA) and performance measurement systems
- Track project progress against baseline and highlight any variances, delays, or risks
- Support change management processes, assessing schedule impacts from scope changes
Risk & Change Management
- Support and facilitate schedule risk analysis workshops
- Identify risks to project delivery and implement mitigation strategies within the schedule
- Assess and report on the impact of delays, variations, and claims
Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience as a Scheduler / Planning Engineer on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or highly regulated environments (preferred)
- Experience managing schedules within EPC / EPCM multi-contractor projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, integrated project schedules
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
