Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Lebanon, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire
Salary: $75,000-$95,000 DOE
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will own key general accounting and financial planning responsibilities for a multi-site manufacturing organization. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving operational and financial improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain general ledger activities, including preparing and posting journal entries and generating financial reports used for account analysis.

Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and accruals.

Monitor and analyze job costs, departmental spending, and overhead allocations; collaborate with department leaders to support cost control and improvement initiatives.

Participate in—and at times lead—annual physical inventory and cycle count programs.

Serve as a subject-matter expert for the Synchro ERP system and Sage general ledger, including user training and process improvement initiatives.

Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities.

Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) with accuracy and timeliness.

Assist with treasury-related activities, including cash management functions.

Support accounts receivable processes, including customer collections as needed.

Provide documentation and support for annual audits and regulatory filings.

Complete additional accounting and finance-related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years of general ledger accounting experience.

Strong background in accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Preferred experience includes inventory accounting, fixed assets, cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, tax and regulatory filings, financial reporting, internal controls, and ERP/accounting systems.

Demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP and internal control standards to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Experience with accounting or enterprise business systems required.
