Client headquartered in Singapore work with investors, IPPs, developers, EPC players, and manufacturers in making significant and long-lasting improvements to their products and processes. Team has over ten years of experience within the renewable energy field, including the areas of solar PV technology production, manufacturing, quality assessment and systems deployment.
Responsibilities
- Having experience in MMS, tracker, Mechanical installation, testing, and other items & equipment as applicable and knowledge of relevant IS / IEC codes applicable.
- Knowledge of ISO 2859, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
- Lead QAQC team for all electrical activities at project site.
- Basic knowledge of IS and IEC standards for electrical erection, testing and commissioning.
- Knowledge of Material, grades, strength test, installation etc.
- Manage site quality team and monitor all site activities as per quality standard.
- Maintain relation between execution team, vendor and procurement team.
- Raising FOM and NCR to vendors for deviation and providing optimum resolution.
- Coordinate with OEM for defects of materials.
- Maintain weekly and monthly quality reports.
- Provide training sessions for site teams to maintain quality standards.
- Knowledge of technical data sheets, GA and GTP.
- Maintain QAP, SOP, Quality Checklists and SFQP.
- Maintain site documents, reports, drawings and test reports for all activities.
- Witness testing with SAT, FAT reports during inspection.
- Coordinate with testing agency to perform testing and pre commissioning activities.
- Responsible for providing resolution of critical issues with design team for FCR.
- Responsible for IMIR activities.
- Performs source inspections (witnessing key tests & inspecting the equipment for acceptable workmanship) for equipment and materials at supplier factories, communicates any deviations.
- Preparation of report templates, formats, checklists, reports, and report reviews of other engineers and subordinates.
- Will be responsible for the training of the subordinates, quality engineers, and other engineers.
- Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems for Structural and Mechanical Items.
- Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
Required Qualification & Skills Qualification:
- Bachelor’s / Diploma degree in Engineering (Mechanical) / sciences.
- Experience of working in quality would be a plus.
- Must have experience in Solar PV Projects.
- More than 7 (10 for Diploma) years of progressive experience in the project’s quality in Renewable Sector. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with civil work, electrical equipment drawings, layouts, GTP & QAP.
- Familiarity with applicable IS / IEC codes. General Skills:
