Senior Network Engineer Leader Resource

TRS is partnered with a multinational leader in chemical manufacturing . It is active in petrochemicals, chemicals, industrial polymers, fertilizers, and metals. They are seeking a Senior Network Engineer Leader Resource.

DURATION:
short term 6 month to one year with option for employment.

LOCATION: Westchase Are (Houston, TX)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven individual who will achieve a high level of customer satisfaction that provides 24/7 reliable and responsive IT Infrastructure Services in over 5 countries.
• Lead and manage a team of technical specialists and outsourced contracted services to securely deliver IT Infrastructure Services in Americas, according to the specifications agreed with Business, Manufacturing and IT organizations.
• As a member of the Regional IT team, participate and contribute to the execution of the overall IT strategy to ensure Global IT maximizes its short, medium and long term value to its customers.
• Formulate and implement plans and budgets in line with Global IT strategy and as befitting the department and needs and objectives of businesses in Americas.
• Track and communicate operational metrics (including trending over time) and identify process and service improvement opportunities.
• Participate in teams supporting transformation projects with the businesses, such as refresh and consolidation strategies and infrastructure technology rollouts.
• Ensure that infrastructure (networks, datacenters, servers and storage) incidents and problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner, and reduced by analyzing root causes, minimizing disruption to business operations and adhering to SLAs on availability and resolution response times.
• Align with global counterparts in order to achieve standardized operations and ensure execution of firm enterprise and IT policies.
Accelerate IT Strategy and accommodate future growth by making Infrastructure a facilitating asset when integrating acquired companies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• University or Bachelor Degree
• 10 years’ experience in IT environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, and WLANs,
• Knowledge of ITIL® which includes Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Analytical skills
• Team player
• Strong Communication skills
• Must be proactive and able to operate independently
• Must be comfortable in a high-energy environment

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• CISCO Network Certified
