Site Engineer

For the construction of a large Utility-project in Amsterdam, our client is looking for a Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you are responsible for:
- acting as technical adviser on the site for subcontractors, crafts people, and operatives
- checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- ensuring that all materials used and the work performed are as per specifications
- liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
- planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines
- overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
- preparing reports as required
- ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
- spending 90% of your time on site

The skills you bring:
• Degree in civil engineering
• 3 years of experience in similar roles on complex high-rise projects
• fluent in English is a must, Dutch speaking is preferable
