About the Role
TRS Staffing is currently seeking an SMP Superintendent to join our client’s team, supporting large-scale construction projects in China. This is a leadership role overseeing construction engineering functions and ensuring project delivery aligns with design, safety, and quality standards. Based between Perth and China.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate SMP construction activities across multiple crafts to meet project goals.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Manage contractor performance and collaborate with contracts administration to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor schedules, manpower, and productivity to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee resource allocation including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Drive scope change management and support project controls.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and support professional development of team members.

Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant SMP construction experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, project controls, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
  • Familiarity with applicable local and national regulations.
