About the Role
TRS Staffing is currently seeking an SMP Superintendent to join our client’s team, supporting large-scale construction projects in China. This is a leadership role overseeing construction engineering functions and ensuring project delivery aligns with design, safety, and quality standards. Based between Perth and China.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate SMP construction activities across multiple crafts to meet project goals.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Manage contractor performance and collaborate with contracts administration to ensure alignment.
- Monitor schedules, manpower, and productivity to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
- Oversee resource allocation including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Drive scope change management and support project controls.
- Foster a strong safety culture and support professional development of team members.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant SMP construction experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, project controls, and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
- Familiarity with applicable local and national regulations.
