About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for an SMP Supervisor to join our team based in the Pilbara. This position is based on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth for a 2 yrs duration.
Duties and responsibilities

Lead and enforce safety standards; conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks.

Supervise SMP works including structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping installation.

Monitor progress against schedule and report delays or issues.

Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.

Coordinate and manage SMP crews and subcontractors on-site.

Liaise with engineering, procurement, and logistics for materials and equipment.
Skills and experience required

Craft certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope; directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
