Client is looking for Sr. Analyzer Engineer
Project Type: EPC | Petrochemical
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Chemical, Electronics, or related field)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in analyzer systems within petrochemical, oil & gas, or refining industries.
- Saudi Arabia experience
- Proven track record in design, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of analyzer systems.
- Strong knowledge of analyzer technologies: gas chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, electrochemical sensors, and CEMS.
- Proficient in sample conditioning systems and analyzer shelter design.
- Familiarity with EPA CEMS requirements and international standards (API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, IEC, ISA, IEEE)
Responsibilities:
- Handle different types of packages for analyzers, analyzer shelters that include analyzers, analyzer shelter and sample conditioning system and sample stations in ISBL and OSBL units.
- Prepare instrument data sheets and material requisitions for analyzer shelters and different types of analyzers such as pH/ORP, conductivity, DO, Chloride, Free Chlorine, turbidity, silica, sulfate, nitrates, ammonia, total suspended solids (TSS), dew point, iron, alkalinity, total organic carbon (TOC), volatile organic carbon (VOC), near infrared (NIR), photometer, UV, total hydrocarbon, polarographic oxygen, refractometer, and color analyzers.
- Prepare material requisition and data sheets for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- Check Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) if all the analyzers, analyzer shelters and sample stations are represented in accordance with project requirement.
- Conduct technical clarifications with the vendors and client.
- Review technical proposals from different vendors and preliminary dimensional drawings from the vendors.
- Coordinate with other disciplines the required installation and utilities for each type of analyzer.
- Prepare technical bid evaluation
- Participate in HAZOP and risk assessment for analyzers
