Role Purpose :

To receive, identify, store, issue, maintain records of various materials received at factory stores & Local Purchase

Responsibility :

1) Receive, Assign and Maintain material identity
2) Store the material properly and safely at designated places
3) Receipt and Issue of materials
4) Maintain stock records and test reports
5) Maintain minimum inventory levels.
6) Prepare material indents
7) Disposal of scrap / waste materials.
8) Supervise store areas
9) Fulfilling the stores objectives of ISO 9000 system

Support Function:

1) Liaison with suppliers / transporters.
2) Assist to SI in ISO and TQM activities

Skills Required :

1) Thorough knowledge on storage activities
2) Thorough knowledge in accounting and book keeping procedures
3) Knowledge of material preservation and identification
4) Knowledge of record keeping and computer operations.
