Structural Engineer

Our client is a major player in the structural engineering industry and they are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join the team in Southern BC. Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be a key player in supporting the structural engineering group. The ideal candidate will be a team player who has 5 – 10 years of previous structural engineering experience.

Key Job Duties:
• Provide Structural design, engineering, and site inspections for commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and municipal-related structural projects
• Lead project management of multi-disciplinary projects
• Assist with proposal preparation and business development
• Supervise and mentor staff to assist with professional development and foster an engaged culture with strong technical capabilities

Key Qualifications:
• Degree in Civil Engineering focused on structural engineering
• Proven delivery of structural projects for public and private clients
• Must have registration in good standing as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia
• Excellent internal and external communication skills are required
