"TRS is urgently looking for a System Commissioning Engineer with strong LNG Project experience within the Oil and Gas industry to join our International Client's Project team for the Yanda Yard Project based in China."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Ensures that the products they are responsible for work properly and that they meet the client’s needs.
• Reviews the project technical documentation and the contractual requirements.
• Defines commissioning work packages and prepare the relevant procedures with the assistance of discipline engineers.
• Supervises commissioning field activities.
• Prepares the commissioning dossiers.
• Ensures safe execution of all commissioning activities through the application of the work permit procedure.
• Coordinates activities of vendor representatives and subcontractors.
• Experience and Knowledge of flow metering, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, valves, pumps, sampling systems, analysers, Flow Computers, E&I wiring and control panels.
• Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures.
• Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines.
• Ensuring that equipment works to its specification.
• Creating and carrying out test procedures.
• Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.
• Troubleshooting.
• Liaising with installation/project engineers.
• Supervising engineering and technical staff.
• Writing reports and documentation.
• Providing technical support.
• Ensuring safe working conditions.
• Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.


QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum accredited Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline field of Study
• Minimum 5 years working experience as a System Commissioning Engineer with LNG Projects within offshore platform/ Oil and Gas Industry.
• All relevant certificates required.
