Technical Planning & Reliability Assistant
Duration: 4-6 Months
Pay: $20-22/hr
Shift: 8a-5p Mon-Fri
Overtime: Minimal
Location: Mooresboro, NC

TRS is seeking a Technical Planning and Reliability Assistant to join their team of experience professionals in the northern Mooresboro, NC area. This position is a contract role that is expected to last 2–3 months. The person in this role is responsible for assisting the Planning and Reliability area in technical-related tasks such as creating preventative maintenance task-based instructions, standard operating procedures, and updating information on assets.

Essential Job Duties
• The role is expected to last 2–3 months.
• Create preventative maintenance task-based instructions using manufacturer operating manuals.
• Creating standard operating procedures for complex maintenance evolutions.
• Create a recommended spare parts list for assets from a combination of using the manufacturer’s manuals and interfacing with vendors.
• Update information about assets and parts within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Update asset information sheets to reflect current conditions and specifications of what is currently being used.
• Ensure effective coordination and communication between the maintenance department and other departments to obtaining information required.
• Other duties as required

Required Qualifications
• Background in a technical field (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation)
• CMMS experience (Infor EAM preferred)
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in an industrial environment
• Associates degree in a technical field (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation) preferred
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook (MS products).
• Intermediate computer and typing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as listening skills.
• Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve problems.
• Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders, and endure sitting, standing, bending or twisting for extended periods and ability to lift up to 50 pounds may be required.
