Technical Writer

TRS Staffing are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer.

The role will see you develop, author and edit technical documentation for wind and solar technologies service and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
• Author and edits technical documentation for wind and solar technologies service and maintenance.
• Participates in software development design and requirements gathering.
• Works closely with engineers and technicians to ensure safe and accurate work procedures.

Qualifications:
• Consistent background (2-5 years) in writing and revising technical procedures in a collaborative environment.
• Strong mechanical inclination, relevant degree(s) a plus, but not showstoppers.
• Strong software and database skills, familiarity with Adobe, Word, and markup language editors like oXygen also pluses.
• Additional experience as a technical copywriter or a trainer/teacher also good to have.
• Attitude, reliability, and work ethic are key.
• Passion for the work and the industry preferred.
• Fluency in German and English is a MUST.
