KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Management and coordination of T&I engineering development for the OSP(s), WTG Substructures and WTGs.
• Manage and coordinate the development of the T&I Employer Requirements and contribute to the compilation and drafting of ITT and contract documents to include T&I related requirements for the OSP(s), WTG Substructures and WTGs.
• Develop, manage, and coordinate T&I programmes
• Support main contract tender process with Tier 1 EPCI and/or T&I Contractors.
• Review information which is transmitted from Contractors to confirm its completeness and correctness.
• Negotiate and recommend offshore T&I contracts.
• Lead the development of an optimised marine logistics and installation plan for the construction stage of the project.
• Optimise offshore installation and logistics concepts.
• Charter installation vessels, support vessels, survey vessels and barges
• Development of internal marine assurance procedures.
• Management of Marine Warranty Survey (MWS).
• Interface with designers, manufacturers and T&I contractors.
• Installation and load-out planning.
• Ensure compliance with technical safety design process
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES – EXECUTION PHASE
• Manage and coordinate offshore T&I contracts, programmes and activities
• Manage and coordinate loadout process, including MWS interface
• Manage client's reps within individual areas
• Ensure contractor's delivery and own review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Carry out HAZID/HAZOP for installation design and offshore installation operations
• Analyse and optimise installation procedures prior to and during installation
• Manage the MWS
• Coordinate inspections of vessels provided to the projects
• Inform the foundations/OSP manager of all significant technical issues, in particular risks, and develop
contingency plans
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards for project execution.
• Ensure that deliveries comply with internal and external HSE requirements
• Implement lessons learnt
KEY DECISION POWERS
• Can recommend methods, quality level and split of contracts within the defined scope
• Can recommend contract award
• Can agree interface management actions with related supplies
