In this role, the qualified candidate will be playing a key role as leader of a skilled tunneling team. Some duties include creating plans and strategies that will ensure that the project is successful and meeting key performance indicators. It also entails being responsible for a hard-working team to ensure that the safety standards and goals of the project are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing the company’s financial assets and complete reports so that budgets are met.
- Develops tunneling and underground structure options for the project and ensures that they follow the company, environmental, and legal regulations.
- Conducts regular work environment, and equipment inspections to ensure that they are up to code.
- Curates schedules and timelines for company projects, and ensures that these duties are completed through efficient use of resources, and supervising all staff.
- Evaluates company contracts and tasks, survey for issues then develops solutions to maximize the company's potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering, or Mining Engineering
- Previous experience in a managerial position
- Experience working in a construction company and educated on the industry
- Educated on legal and environmental obligations that must be met
