VAT Superintendent

On behalf of an Oil & Gas company, we are currently recruiting for a Value Added Tax (VAT) Superintendnet 

Accountabilities

• Contribute to public finances in the host countries, paying taxes due on a timely basis;
• Adhere to both the letter and the spirit of tax rules in the countries in which business activities are carried on;
• Communicate promptly to the relevant authorities all information prescribed by law or necessary in order to determine correctly the taxes due;
• Determine transfer prices in intra-group transactions in line with the “Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations”
• Improve compliance processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Assist in development and implementation of tax strategies and cash flow movements
• Developing the tax strategy and tax planning on an annual basis for the Company.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. MA in taxation a plus
• Candidate must have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Tax with experience in financial services industry

Specific Requirements :

• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and tax returns
• Financial services experience
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• Excellent communication and project management skills
