Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wind O&M Supervisor with hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, preventive maintenance, fault rectification, and site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the termination of all DC and AC cables along with the site team.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, including IDTs, ICOGs, PVCS, ACDBs, and battery banks.
• Ensure route marking and cable laying activities are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor and maintain DG sets and site illumination systems.
• Conduct testing of earth pits, continuity checks, and torque tightening of busbars.
• Perform string current measurements and I-V curve testing.
• Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of PVCS and IGBT components.
• Supervise vegetation control activities, including grass cutting and module cleaning.
• Record and monitor readings from inverters and ABT meters.
• Identify and resolve minor and major electrical faults within the plant.
• Prepare Daily Generation Reports (DGR) and weather reports.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment, including:
  • UPS Systems
  • ACDB & DCDB Panels
  • Air Conditioning Units
  • Site Illumination Systems
  • MCR Equipment
  • Other plant electrical assets

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably in wind and solar O&M.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to lead field teams and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
