The role will see you working as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) providing safety from the system under Electrical safety rules, by carrying out isolations, earthing, and safety documents.
Previous offshore windfarm or 66kV experience is preferred but will consider 33kV SAPs as long as they have demonstrably experienced on multi feed networks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
- SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
- Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
- Provide isolations and safety documentation
- Working under High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules)
- Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
- Provide personal supervision if required
- Conduct and review point of work risk assessments
- Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
- Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step
- Offshore HUET
- Knowledge of WTG WTSR
- Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above
- Will consider 33kV SAPs as long as they have demonstrably experienced on multi feed networks
