Responsibilities Include:
• Play an integral role in the expansion of the internal software and automation engineering business line
• Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal
• Responsible for the selection and development of commissioning and automation engineering personnel
• Aid in the design and integration of custom software and automation packages
• Provide technical support across departments and to customers
• Analyze customer’s automation specifications, apply appropriate product offerings to meet the customers’ expectations in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Coordinate the commissioning of new equipment, supporting Commissioning Engineers with installation and integration at the client site
• When most appropriate, provide alternative solutions to optimize profitability while meeting customer needs
• Demonstrate a basic financial knowledge to understand and participate in ongoing business planning and support the product as well as project lifecycle management processes
Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Basic level of technical knowledge with the application of electrical distribution products and systems.
• Excellent communications skills to effectively and accurately communicate with internal and external customers
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office tools
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL and NEMA standards for LV Switchgear, LV Switchboard
