Bilingual HSE&Q Coordinator

Our client, a leader in contractor/supplier management with offices worldwide, is seeking a Senior Bilingual HSE&Q Coordinator to join their team in their downtown Toronto office.

This person will be providing safety-related technical support to clients and facilitating desktop audits of health and safety programs as you report to an HSE Supervisor based in the US.

Responsibilities:
+ Develop health and safety protocols as needed by legislated requirements;
+ Review contractor documentation/processes;
+ Perform desktop audits of health & safety programs;
+ Coordinate new processes and implementation initiatives;
+ Research and develop resources/reference documents for clients;
+ Support the organization’s Continuous Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001;

Qualifications:
+ 2-5 years of experience within the Safety profession;
+ Able to communicate effectively and speak in front of groups;
+ Bilingual French/English is a must;
+ Self-starter who can help the client grow safely and sustainability;
+ Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & 27001, auditing skills would be a big plus;
+ Ability to travel 10-25% of your time depending on the time of year/workload;
