BIM Coordinator

This standard was developed to document key roles and responsibilities for BIM Coordinator Position.
II. Scope:
1. Engineering background required. (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering, Architectural, Structural, Civil, Building engineering).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Construction industry & multidisciplinary coordination.
3. Data centre / Industrial projects experience preferred but not essential.
4. Contractor experience preferred but design / engineering office background acceptable.
5. Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Revit modelling and coordinating MEP services.
6. Experience with Navisworks & clash detection reporting. IFC exporting / importing into Revit.
7. Experience with Autocad 2D & 3D.
8. Maintenance of controlled document registers and associated documentation.
9. Working in accordance with company procedures & guidelines.
10. Managing the integration of the specialists’ models and fabrication drawings across all disciplines to ensure there is a co-ordinated design to be taken to site teams.
11. The candidate will need to be already based in Barcelona / willing to relocate to Barcelona.
