TRS Staffing is looking for an experienced Bridge Design Manager to deliver a major bridge project that is located in the Lower Mainland in British Columbia. Our client is a leader in the construction of major civil infrastructure projects in Canada and globally. This is a permanent fulltime position located out of Richmond, BC.
Key Details:
· Well experienced in bridge construction and design with the ability to control a project from start to finish
· Associated experience can include heavy civil projects such as roads, rail, transportation…
· Responsible for managing and leading staff as well as hiring new employees as required
· P.Eng with a degree in Civil Engineering or associated degree. Advanced degrees are viewed as an asset.
· Solid experience in cost control, budgets, and scheduling
· Analysis, design, preparation of tender packages
· Cost estimation and proposal preparation
· Contract compliance with a track record of bringing in projects within schedule and budget
· Outstanding communication skills as you will be dealing with clients, sub-contractors and vendors.
