Superintendent – Business Improvement
Location - Middle East
Salary / Rate - Negotiable

Role:
Lead the Business Improvement section by facilitating business process improvement projects implementation and by recommending business process improvement initiatives in line with vision, mission and strategic objective of the organisation to create a continuous improvement culture for promoting operational excellence.

The job purpose is achieved by supporting Company Strategic Planning and Governance via the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) and by managing the Project Management Office which is responsible for tracking and assisting all non-capital projects.

Job Content:
Superintendent Business Improvement is responsible for implementing business improvement methodologies in the company. He/she is responsible for coaching/training Project Managers on these methodologies for the business process improvement. Job requires planning and organising work by assigning jobs to the reporting staff and monitoring assigned work for time, accuracy and adherence to company policies. Duties include attending meetings of the Strategic Planning Committee & Performance Improvement Committee as a subject matter expert, advising Project Managers on project roll out and other related matters and training them on business process improvements.
Job holder acts as a champion for business improvement and provides support to the business units to ensure continuous operational improvement. He/she needs to have thorough professional knowledge in the area of process improvement to provide advice on the same.

Knowledge and Skills
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in Business Process Improvement methodology and implementation of Business Improvement projects.
• Six Sigma certification is a must. Advantageous to be a member of an internationally recognised Improvement/Quality society.
