Civil Designer

Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy with projects throughout Canada, is seeking a Civil Designer to join their team in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with managing design build and municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be working in an engineering design focused role for projects throughout Western Canada from the proposal stage through completion. Their day-to-day activities will include creating and reviewing engineering designs, preparing tender documents and cost estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related education
- 5+ years of experience of design experience on municipal infrastructure projects, design build, and roads/highways
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D is required
- P.Eng designation is a must
- Outstanding communication skills– written and verbal
