Communications Advisor

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in beautiful Kitimat, British Columbia as a Communications Advisor! You would be at work within a growing EPCM firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.

The location of this position will be Calgary, Vancouver, or Kitimat.

In this role, the selected candidate will be developing and implementing internal and external communication activities. They will lead event coordination for project and community-based events, provide editorial review of communication content, get project input on communication needs, and support tracking and reporting metrics.

Further responsibilities will include developing and executing internal and external communications plans, maintaining compliance with applicable policies, and analyzing problems and providing appropriate courses of action.

Qualifications:
- Relevant post-secondary education or certifications in communications, public relations, journalism, etc.
- Must have previous event organization experience
- Must have exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and oral presentation skills
- Previous experience with projects and construction sites is considered an asset
