TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Contracts Administrator role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support both pre-award and post-award contract processes for major capital projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as engineering, finance, and project management—to shape and align scopes of work.
- Monitor ongoing contract execution, proactively identifying risks and communicating key updates to leadership.
- Prepare and deliver contract award recommendations to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive the administration of complex contracts, ensuring alignment with internal governance and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the evolution of contract management practices through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead negotiations on commercial terms and assist in the assessment of both technical and financial proposals.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in contract administration or commercial management.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with local and international contracting standards and regulations is an asset.
