A leading engineering, procurement and construction company is looking for a Contracts Manager to join the Contracts & Procurement department on outside IR35 contract.
As Contracts Manager your responsibilities will include:
Performs Contract Management activities on assigned projects
Maintains a working knowledge of the Company’s Contract Management Standards, programs and goals by planning and applying Contract Management practices and procedures as established by the company on a project site or in an office through departmental training
Manage and actively contribute to improvement of functional work processes and reference systems
Provide project staffing solutions and ability to develop effort-hour estimates
Lead large EPC project’s with multi-office execution
Establish and maintain communications with client representatives and project staff through meetings, telephone and web conferences, and reports to provide for client satisfaction
Develop Client relationships through superior execution
Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements
Participate in proposal development activities including preparation of required proposal response
Participate in the Pre-Qualification process of subcontractors; monitor and track subcontractors’ compliance to Fluor’s HSE, Quality and Finance procedures currently in place
Lead Client and Contractor presentations and meetings
Prepare bid evaluations and award recommendations
Review and execute procedurally correct contracts
Review contracts project set-up
Assign contract packages for administration
Perform Contractor resource survey
Perform contract risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies 39. Provide input to
Project final Report
Prepare Project Contract Procedures
Develop standard contract templates for a project
Coordinate the timely issue/distribution/response of documents to the Contractor
Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate of technical scopes of work including interface with all project disciplines (project controls, legal services, project management, construction, engineering, finance/accounting, and client)
Lead internal Request for Proposal (RFP) and RFP explanation meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents
Analyze commercial sections of proposals and coordination of technical proposal evaluations.
Develop final proposal evaluations and prepare contract recommendations, and present recommendation to project team and/or client
Perform contract management post-award activities through evaluating and status contractors’ productivity, schedule adherence, contract change management, invoicing and claims avoidance
Perform closeout of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, issue of final modifications, invoices and coordinate completion of contractor performance evaluations
Interface with all levels of the project team – and be able to represent and interface with all levels of internal and/or external management and corporate organization persons. Hold meetings with interfacing disciplines in the support of scope or commercial term development
