“TRS is delighted to be working for an award-winning Client who has an exciting opportunity for a talented Control and Instrumentation Engineer with Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industry experience to be based Sasol, SECUNDA.”

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS / JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This role encompasses that of a C&I Study Lead, who is the assigned overall lead to a study or project executed in the Solutions development phases.
• The Study Lead’s prime responsibility is to run the technical and project tracks on a day-to-day basis and ensure that the study outcomes are achieved within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
o An understanding of the following key aspects are required in order to proficiently execute the role of a Study Lead:
o Study or Project Management and Control (with the aid of Cost controller and Planner)
o Engineering Management and Engineering Discipline Work
o Risk Management (With the Aid of S&P)
o Planning and Progress Monitoring
o Cost Control and invoicing review (with the aid of cost control).

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited 4 years’ Bachelor’s of Science / Engineering (Control Systems) Degree preferably or equivalent 15 years’ plus experience within Petrochemical and Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 8-10 years of project-related Control Systems Engineering Experience within Oil and Gas Industry.
• Must have Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials.
• Knowledge and Experience on InTools, and other Control Systems Engineering Systems
