Our client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure sector and are currently recruiting for a Cost Engineer to work on major Rail projects in London.
This is a contract or staff role paying £400-450 per day or £50-65,000 + package

As the Cost Engineer you will have knowledge of the following:
Experience and demonstrated skill in directing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office.
Experience and demonstrated skill in establishing criteria for Project Controls activities.
Statistical knowledge of regression analysis of variance estimation and correlation, with an advanced understanding of how to apply real-world applications of statistical theory.
Preparation of the cost impact of EWNs, NCEs and PMIs.
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes

Ideally will have:
Budget management
Cost forecasting and cost reporting
cost/schedule alignment, cost risk assessment,
Earned Value understanding - preferably in a project controls style environment
