Key Responsibilities:
- Populate and maintain data migration files for the Project.
- Proactively identify data issues across project streams, ensuring that migration data is aligned to project’s requirements before mock migration or cut over.
- Monitor closure of required clean-up tasks.
- Support reconciliation of business datasets to ensure they are clean, accurate, and ready for migration.
- Support Key Users throughout the preparation and cleansing process by:
- Validate that data in internal submission templates aligns with project mapping rules, transformation logic, and cleansing requirements.
- Review populated templates for completeness, accuracy, and logical correctness before submission.
- Ensure data mapping between dependent data sets is consistent (e.g. AP vendor exists on the Vendor Master).
- Assist in the transformation of business data to submission format for migration.
- Identify discrepancies and log issues for remediation.
- After data loads, assist the business with verification activities by:
- Preparing comparison views between source, transformed, and loaded data.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in data quality, data migration, or master data roles.
- Power Query / Data Queries.
- Pivoting, merging, unpivoting datasets.
- Advanced formulas (LOOKUP functions, TEXT formulas, logic rules, LET, etc.)
- Excellent communication and ability to clearly articulate required corrections to business stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, SCM, Engineering, Document Management).
- Experience with structured databases and ERP systems, especially in large-scale transformation or migration projects.
