As the Commissioning & Start-Up Manager, you will:
- Lead and handle Start-Up Engineers and multi-discipline engineering teams at the site and remotely. Work with critical customers and potential other EPC companies during Pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Start-Up phases.
- Use Business judgement in making technical evaluations and recommendations.
- Advice on Commissioning techniques, and generate work instructions, re-usable Commissioning Procedures, start-up checklists and templates.
- Provide technical feedback to other start-up engineers for troubleshooting, coordinate with other engineering disciplines during commissioning to resolve and expedite.
- Assist with the recruitment of site staff and contract teams to support the project, and coordinate with other subject area leads at Home Office to help sort out project-specific issues or any commissioning or safety-related issues.
To be successful, you will have:
- Validated experience within large ‘mega’ projects delivery, relevant working experience in systemization and completions management activities.
- Consistent track record of project execution & delivering results for large plants commissioning and start up’s.
- Experience with completions or commissioning tracking tools, GO Completions preferable.
- Interpersonal skills associated with leading a construction workforce.
Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in commissioning and start-up.
- Good understanding of QA/QC requirements for final documentation on oil and gas-related construction projects.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Proficient in HSE management principles and its application in the field.
