Director - Clean Energy Programs

Our client is seeking a Director over Clean Energy Programs of New Jersey. This position is the Authority’s leader and industry expert on a portfolio of clean energy products and initiatives, with an anticipated annual state financial impact of $610Million. This position is forward-facing to the public and is a key liaison with the Governor’s clean energy team. The individual will serve as an innovation economy advocate and champion within State government and foster strong working relationships with key industry stakeholders across government.

The individual is responsible for shaping and leading the Authority’s efforts to ensure the State’s long-term competitiveness in the clean energy sector through product and initiatives delivered to the market. This position is responsible for leading a team which manages, develops, coordinates and structures products and programs that align with the goals stated in the State’s Energy Master Plan while promoting policies and initiatives that support the state’s strategic economic growth. This includes the design, roll-out and implementation of the clean energy portfolio of products which will be instrumental in stimulating the creation of green jobs in the State. This organizational leadership role is further responsible for the attractiveness, effectiveness, and operational excellence of the respective products all while maintaining the highest level of fiduciary responsibility.
