Job Summary:
  • To provide electrical, control, and instrumentation engineering expertise for mining projects in Ghana, with a focus on EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) delivery.
  • The role involves design, coordination, and oversight of EC&I systems throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specification of EC&I systems for mining and mineral processing facilities.
  • Review and approval of vendor documentation and drawings.
  • Support procurement activities including technical evaluations and vendor selection.
  • Oversee construction and installation of EC&I systems to ensure compliance with design and
  • standards.
  • Provide technical support during commissioning and handover phases.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghanaian and international standards and regulations.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including specifications, reports, and drawings.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Professional registration with a recognized engineering body.
  • Minimum 5 years of EC&I engineering experience in the mining sector.
  • Proven experience in EPCM project environments.
  • Familiarity with mining infrastructure including substations, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA, and field
  • instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ISO).
  • Safety certifications (e.g., HIRA, First Aid, Working at Heights).
  • Experience working in West Africa or in similar environments is advantageous.
