Environmental Monitor

We have a new and exciting opportunity!

Our client, an International industry leader in the Environmental Consultancy sector is looking for an Environmental Monitor/ Inspector to join their team in Edmonton, AB to work on projects within Western Canada. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within environmental sciences and regulatory projects. The ideal candidate would have 3 previous years’ experience as an environmental monitor or inspector, with knowledge of current provincial and federal legislation.

As an individual within the environmental industry you will have strong understanding of the environmental management process such as approvals, construction, mitigation and reclamation. You will have training and experience in erosion, sediment control and operation of field vehicles and trailers.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma Environmental Science, biology, forestry, agriculture, or related degree
• Proven experience with field data collection and ability to safely work in remote environments
• Experience directly in soil salvage, vegetation and wetlands, bird sweeps, amphibian salvage, spill response and waste management.
• Reclamation knowledge and experience
