Field Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has been entrusted by one of the major renewable energy construction company to recruit Field Engineers for their windfarm construction projects in Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong competence to be in the field carrying out and overseeing construction of renewable projects in areas Calgary, Brooks and Medicine Hat.

Job Description

• Should have demonstrated and managed construction phases of major projects, preferably inclined with renewables projects.
• Able to propagate construction filed inspections and stakeholder of implementing quality plans in line with regulations and project standards.
• Able to take ownership of overall quality, ensuring environmental compatible with government regulations.
• Should be handling and preparing non-compliance reports; and able to execute project inspections
• Able to propose in collaboration with project staff for project progress reports, interpret project data and statistics.

To be successful in this role you must have

• Degree in Civil or mechanical engineering, having a supplementary technical qualification in renewable energy will definitely plus.
• 3 to 5 years of solid in field, construction experience is a must for this role.
• Having QC qualification with relevant experience will be huge advantage as this position deals mainly with QC aspects of the project within field engineer scope of activities.
• Ability to manage a group field staff and delegating duties, guidance as required.
• This position has extensive travel within Alberta to various projects in Brooks, Calgary and Medicine Hat.
