Field Quality Engineer(Mechanical)

TRS is seeking a dedicated professional to join one of the premier EPC firms in India. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our client's cement plant project sites. This is a 1 year contract on third party payroll. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Field Quality Inspections in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, and as dictated by the stages of approved Field Quality Plans (FQPs) and Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs).
• Vigilantly monitor workmanship, materials, and equipment to ensure top-notch quality during construction.
• Ensure strict adherence to the Quality Assurance Plan, reporting any discrepancies directly to the Owner and providing regular Quality Inspection reports.
• Critically review QAPs and testing protocols, incorporating Client feedback and observations.
• Perform visual inspections and other quality checks upon delivery of Balance of Plant (BOP) materials at the construction site.
• Collaborate closely with the site quality manager and construction manager, addressing all quality-related issues and ensuring comprehensive reporting.
• Guarantee that all construction activities comply with the project’s specifications, approved drawings, FQP, recognized engineering practices, codes, standards, and timelines.

Key Requirements:

• Cement plant construction experience is essential.
• A BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12-20 years of relevant industry experience.
