An opportunity to work for a global leader in Renewable Energy, based from their vibrant Swindon head-office.
The right candidate will be a qualified accountant with a recognized accounting body (ACA/CCA/CIMA) and will bring extensive experience in a similar role with a focus on financial accounting for large-scale projects.
Brief Description
This is a highly engaging job and provides an excellent breadth of exposure to the fast-growing offshore wind farm business in the UK and it involves working 3 days per week in the office in Swindon
- To work within the accounting team to oversee the production of management accounts, statutory accounts and technical accounting advice in respect of wind farm companies.
- Act as a business partner providing strategic, timely and accurate advice to management and internal stakeholders on all aspects of technical accounting and structuring for a large-scale project.
- Responsibility for balance sheet management i.e. preparing balance sheet recs and resolving any ledger issues
Qualifications
You must be able to demonstrate and evidence the following:
- Qualified accountant with recognized accounting body - ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
- SAP system capabilities
- Application of IFRS
- CCH accounts preparation software
