Location: Boden, Sweden.
For one of our clients, a global leading EPC contractor, we are looking for multiple Groundworks Interface Supervisors, responsible for coordinating construction interfaces and ensuring the smooth progress of work. This role includes risk management and supporting communication between teams to achieve project goals.
The project in Boden, which our client oversees, is a pioneering venture in steel production using renewable hydrogen. It is the first installation of its kind in the world, making work at this position particularly interesting and demanding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Construction Management Team in overseeing construction site activities (large volume of backfill, excavation, reinforced concrete, underground services & knowledge of piling work & structural steel installation is a big advantage), including forecasting 3 weeks look ahead, resource allocation, quality control & safety.
• Closely monitor work progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Communicate & assist resolve issues, roadblocks & interface between concrete & steel
• Documentation:
• Maintain detailed construction progress records of daily construction activities, including modifications and revisions.
• Assist in generating progress reports and project documentation.
Qualifications:
• Preferably a graduate of civil engineering course is required or related field in construction and engineering.
• It is a must for the candidate to have an experience in extreme winter condition dealing with a multi-national workforce.
• The candidate preferably has Nordic construction experience.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality and safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior supervisors.
• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) is a big advantage but not a compulsory requirement.
