My client is an Oil, Gas and Chemicals Company supporting several projects from FEED through to construction and is seeking the services of an experienced Safety Manager to Chair safety related workshops HAZID / HAZOPs, SIL etc.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be an experienced safety professional who will demonstrate previous responsibilities covering HAZOP and SIL operations in particular.
Manage the HAZOP / HAZID / SIL preparation works from identification and assessment through to communicating technical requirements and deliverables to stakeholders.
The candidate will report to the project Director and Process Safety Manager however the successful applicant will also work very closely with the end client on technical aspects of the project.
Instruct Management of change / Engineering change notices generated from the Process HAZOP, SIL reviews
Skills Required
5+ Years’ experience in Chairing HAZOP’s in Oil, Gas and Chemicals
15+ years Process Safety Management experience
Chemical Engineering Masters or Degree
Ability to read process / mechanical / Electrical and Instrument design.
Strong Knowledge of Fire & Gas, Water & Deluge Systems
Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
