My client is an Oil, Gas and Chemicals Company supporting several projects from FEED through to construction and is seeking the services of an experienced Safety Manager to Chair safety related workshops HAZID / HAZOPs, LOPA etc.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be an experienced safety professional who will demonstrate pervious responsibilities covering HAZOP and LOPA operations in particular.
Manage the HAZOP / HAZID / preparation works from identification and assessment through to communicating technical requirements and deliverables to stakeholders.
The candidate will report to the project Director and Process Safety Manager however the successful applicant will also work very closely with the end client on technical aspects of the project.
Instruct Management of change / Engineering change notices generated from the Process HAZOP, reviews
Skills
5+ Years’ experience in Chairing HAZOP’s & LOPA in Oil, Gas and Chemicals
15+ years Process Safety Management experience
Chemical Engineering Masters or Degree
Ability to read process / mechanical / Electrical and Instrument design.
Strong Knowledge of Fire & Gas, Water & Deluge Systems
Solid communication skills (written & verbal)
